The Prodigal Church

Having seen how earlier the Oriental Church was perfectly prophesied, and seeing how the western Church fell into temporal schism with the filioque, and how also the western Church was given the most beautiful sign in Our Lady of Guadalupe, that affirms the western Mariology of the Immaculate Conception of Mary, let us consider fully how this was all foretold by Jesus in the Gospel of Saint Luke, the Churches’ physician[1]:

And he said, A certain man had two sons:

Having previously seen how in Mark we might discern Peter and Andrew as the type of two sons, let us consider this with respect to Rome and Constantinople. Old Rome is of the younger Peter, and the New Rome is of the older Andrew.

And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.

Then Peter took Him, and began to rebuke Him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be to thee.”[2]

Peter took the Lord, that is to say the very inheritance, and he took Him aside to rebuke Him of the Cross. And this is part of the irony in that with this rebuke, the signs of the stigmata that came on Paul, are found on western Saints. For this is the inheritance they have beautifully received. The Frankish Papacy, realizing that God will have an inheritance among the nations, have taken to themselves that inheritance and have become a “vicarious.” That is in Christ place.

And he divided to them his living. And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

This is exactly what happened in history. The filioque became the departure point for a temporal Christianity in the world, versus an eternal Christianity that is Orthodox. And the far country is the world and its temporal chronology. And here the west has obviously wasted its substance with riotous living. Look at the art in the Vatican. Look at the naked boys in statues in the gardens! Look at the passionate expression in Renaissance painting. Look at the concordats with harlot nations, the idolatry of Pachamama, and the pods of the indulgences to feed piggish passions. It is prima facie, on the face of it.

And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.

Truly the Papacy became in want and was held in captivity in Avignon. And today it is experiencing an even greater falling away since Vatican II modernism.

And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.

What are the swine, but the passions.

And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave to him.

What are the husks but the indulgences sold to feed the passions.

And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

What is this bread but the super-essential daily bread that is Christ Himself. But when one exalts Pachamama, and one goes to native American spirit circles, where is one?

I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

When does humility begin to enter into the mind of the western Roman Catholic? There is a slavish obedience to a single man who is not Christ, when Christ warned not to call any man Father, Master or Teacher. In the liturgical context, we indeed call our vicarious Father, Master and Teacher as they are icons of the true and One Father, Master and Teacher.

And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

And this far way off is far off revealed. For he who has a dirty robe in worldly power will be given the best robe in repentance. He who insists on men kissing his ring will be given an eternal blessing a true ring on his hands, and the sandals of true martyrdom on his feet.

And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

A long way off the fatted Calf was prepared, even at the hospitality of Abraham when the young man went and got the fatted Calf for the Holy Angels representing the Holy Trinity to consume. And Our Lady of Guadalupe, the hidden river, is the sign of the fatted calf, of the reconciliation in “The Sign.” But this must await the Prodigal west coming to his senses.

Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard music and dancing. And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant. And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he has received him safe and sound.

And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him. And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gave me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:

Here we must point out that the kid is a goat representing the antichrist. The Orthodox older prodigal son is not imprudent to avoid premature Ecumenism as the kid has not yet been consumed, and the younger prodigal went away to the far country.

But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf. And he said to him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

When the time is right, these things will be realized and the Church will be visibly One. But in the meantime, western Catholics read the Bulletin and pay little attention to the Bible.

A Dangerous Speculation?

This author has served as sacristan with another whose father was an Orthodox Priest at the time of the death of Saint Mother Teresa. This person saw with his own eyes, by his father bidding, an Orthodox miracle associated with Mother Teresa.

When Mother Teresa passed away, the Orthodox Priest placed a particle on the discos in the general intercessory pile[3]. The particle jumped to the Saint’s pile. He carefully moved the particle to the general pile, and it hopped onto the Saint’s pile again. The Priest called his son, who relayed this story, and the Priest moved the particle to the general pile again, and in front of the witness of the priest’s son, the particle hopped onto the Saint’s pile.

Now this is provided as an introduction to a concept that makes sense to this present author. Mother Teresa requested of John Paul II that Mary be declared co-redemptrix! This would be highly unorthodox and incorrect as the Cosmos has One redeemer, Jesus Christ the Lord.

However, while this is true of the Cosmos and mankind, it may be, given Our Lady of Guadalupe, that the term co-redemptrix of the Romans SEEMS perfectly valid for Roman Catholics, even as it is apart from the Eastern Orthodox and from the rest of the Catholic Church. This would align with the feast of the fatted calf, and with the Mother of the Prodigal sons so conspicuous in her absence from the parable.

If the thesis of this present author is correct, the Western Church is the manifestation of the Prodigal son in the fullness of Peter. Therefore the fatted Calf, the Mother of God, Our Lady of Guadalupe has provided a way home via “The Sign” for western Catholics back to Orthodoxy and way for Orthodoxy to enter into Communion when the time comes by God’s grace.

Thus to the Western Catholics of the Prodigal Church, Mary is Co-Redeemer but only for the Western Catholics, not for the rest of the Catholic Church.

How the Divine NAME is Manifest in Iconography

[1] Luke 15:11-32

[2] Matthew 16:22

[3] In Orthodox Holy Communion, particles are cut from leavened bread and placed in orderly piles starting with the Saints in rank from higher to lower, and then a general pile for all being interceded for and remembered.
