‘Precedence is the Mother of Heresy’

If ‘precedence is the mother of heresy’ as Saint John Chrysostom warned, then surely the devil in vain-glory, audacity and pride is her lover. The heretics, her children, are fed with cowardice mingled with innocent blood as abominable milk.

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

This seems not a question but its own answer. Man asks why and imagines vain things as the answer. ‘Science falsely so-called’ separates God and places Him at a distance. As Saint Cyril of Alexandria complained in his day of heretics;

“Where, then, is the vain and senseless babbling of heathen boasting? “Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this world? has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For some of them entirely deny the providence of God: while others make it reach down as far only as the moon, and set bounds to it, as though they had had this authority committed to them. To such we would say: Is the providence of God too weak to reach down to that which is below, and even as far as to us, or is the Creator of all too weary to see what we do? If then they say that it is too weak, this is mere stupidity, and nothing else. But if they represent the divine nature as subject to indolence, they make it thereby liable also to envy. And this again is blasphemy, and a crime than which none is greater. But they answer, it is giving trouble to the divine and supreme will to impose upon it the care of all these earthly matters. They know not how great is that nature which the mind cannot understand nor speech describe, and which rules over all. For to it all things are small: and so the blessed prophet Isaiah teaches us where he says; “If it is true that all the nations are as a drop from a cask, and are reckoned as the turn of a balance, and shall be counted as spittle, to what have you likened the Lord?” For what is one drop from a cask? and what is the turn of a balance? and what too is spittle?—-that is, a single expectoration? If therefore this be the position of all things towards God, how can it be a great matter to Him, or one that occasions Him trouble, to have the care of all things? The noxious sentiments therefore of the heathen are bereft of reason.”

Jesus taught even the Pharisees that “the Kingdom of God is within you.” We are Jesus Kingdom and so we are to think and remember what we are and that our bodies are Holy, our minds and all our being are in Jesus continually.

The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

The “separation of Church and State”, the separation of so-called science and religion, the separation of morality, justice and earthly rule from heavenly are all rooted in the vain imagination of man to do things in accordance with our own will rather than the Divine. The Chords are the prayer beads. We Christians are called to continuous prayer for friends and enemies alike. The Beauty of prayer and the bands are the Holy Cross and we Christians are called upon to pick up our crosses and follow Jesus Christ who has taken upon Himself the greater yoke of judgment. Our prayer life gives us entrance to the Ark for we are in the days of Noah and Sodom and Gomorrah within an evil and adulterous generation that has not passed away.

He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

Hallelujah! The one international word is joyous praise to JAH – to God. This the laugh for Christ is Arisen from the dead and not one shall remain in the grave. The nations are overthrown by the joyous cry. God’s love extends to us even in the grave, even after death. Saint Gregory the Theologian taught:

“Some will be welcomed by the unspeakable light and the vision of the holy and royal Trinity, Which now shines upon them with greater brilliancy and purity and unites Itself wholly to the whole soul, in which solely and beyond all else I take it that the kingdom of heaven consists. The others among other torments, but above and before them all must endure the being outcast from God, and the shame of conscience which has no limit.”

Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
There are between 120,000 and 125,000 thousand abortions a day in this world. Since 1980 we are in the new world war III fought in the womb. How long will the Lord watch the poor mothers of the martyred Holy Innocents deluded and delivered to hell? Perhaps it is time for Christians in prayer to separate ourselves from this wicked and disastrous generation? Cars, bars, pleasures, food and all the things of this transitory life are part of the broad path that leads to hell. The narrow path of fasting, continuous prayer, blessing enemies and alms with confession of sins rooted in humility is the Apostolic method of repentance taught by Saint John Chrysostom. It is the narrow way to everlasting life.

Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

The Holy Crucifix is on the Hill of the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. One sees Christ crucified for the Apostolic Christian seeks the shame of the Cross before the Glory. And the shame of this cross is in the world and the glory is in the next. Those who seek the glory before the shame are in grave error according to the ancient Church Fathers. The hearts of the children must turn to the Fathers – in humility we pray through the Saints for we see ourselves as unworthy to pray alone for others. Alone we can only pray for our sins, Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me the sinner. With the Saints we can enter prayer with and for all others; Through the prayers of the Saints, Lord Jesus Christ our true God have mercy on us and save us and Hail Mary, full of Grace, the Lord is with you, blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death Amen.

Glory to Jesus Christ who is the I AM incarnate;

I will declare the decree: the LORD has said to me, you are my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.

Have mercy on me Oh God, in accordance with thy great and tender mercies…

Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, son of Mary, have mercy on us. Amen.
